Grab a large pan with a tight-fitting lid.
Gather your ingredients.
Add the oil to the pan.
Turn it up to medium-high heat.
Add three of the kernels, when they have ALL popped the oil is hot enough.
After they've popped, pour the sugar all over and give it a stir with a wooden spoon. Don't worry about any chunks.
Add the rest of the kernels and stir.
Almost there!
Take the pot off of the heat. Add salt to your liking and shake it up again.
Dump the kettle corn into a large bowl. It tastes great both warm and cold!
Look! That tiny little 3/4 cup makes a large bowl.
