Brilliant served as part as an Indian BBQ or simply as a twist on a beef burger. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
Like my chicken tikka recipe these can be cooked in a pan, under the grill or on the BBQ. The India spices work really well with the lamb.
Start by grating about 2cm of ginger into a bowl
Add one clove of crushed garlic
Add 1tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp ground coriander, 1tsp ground cumin, 1tsp cumin seeds (slightly crushed). Optional add 1/2 tsp chilli powder or a pinch of dried chilli flakes.
Add one egg and 1 tbsp yoghurt and 400g minced lamb. Optional: adding 1tbsp of finely chopped mint is good.
Mix well
Form into patties. The can also be made into kebabs by forming the meat around a skewer in a kebab shape. You can make them in advance, cover and refrigerate for a few hours or cook straightaway
I cooked them on the BBQ but they could be cooked on a griddle pan, under the grill (broiler) or in a frying pan. Just make sure they are nice and brown on each side and cooked in the middle
These are good served with my chicken tikka kebabs, my salsa and my pea and mint dip which can be found in my list of other guides
