Add 8 teaspoons (4 tablespoons) of sugar to 2 cups of water and bring to a boil
Add 3 teaspoons of chai leaves while waiting for the water to boil
Grade apx 2 inches of fresh ginger into the pot after adding the chai leaves
Heat 2 cups of milk in microwave for apx 1 min 15 secs
Add 1st cup of milk after its heated (water should be boiling) and while the 2nd cup is being microwaved
Add chopped mint and tulsi (optional) leaves
Immediately turn off the heat, remove the pot from the heat, and cover for 2 min
Strain into cup and enjoy after slightly cooling

- 3.0tsp Sugar
- 12.0 Mint leaves
- 2.0c Water
- 6.0 Tulsi (Holy Basil) leaves - optional
