How to make edible carnations, perfect for cupcakes and occasion cakes :)

INGREDIENTS

Snap off the end of the cocktail stick to make it blunt

Roll out the sugar paste and cut out 3 shapes

Using the cocktail stick push on the petals and rock to make little indents

Using the cocktail stick roll up the corners of the other two shapes

Using the paintbrush, put a hole in the middle of one and glue around the hole

Push the bottom of the first folded flower and squeeze together

Poke a hole in the last flower and glue it around the edge.

Put the bottom of the flower through the final hole and squeeze

Repeat to make required amount and leave to harden (it doesn't take long)

Cover with edible glitter if wished to change colour or add sparkle:)

Here's some other colours:) I used white sugar paste and coloured them using glitter. (made leaves out of green sugar paste and they're hooked into green wire)
