Drain a can of chickpeas and pour it into a bowl.
Pour 4-5 good lugs of olive oil onto the chickpeas.
Peal a clove of garlic and add this to the chickpeas. Use less garlic if you don't want your breath to smell:)
Spoon 2-3 large spoons of tahini into the mixture.
Squeeze the Lemon and add the juice. You may like more or lemon, so it'll take a few tries before you get it right for you.
Add a small dried chilli, salt and pepper.
Use a hand blender to whizz the mixture up.
Taste it. Do you need more garlic? Salt? Lemon? Tahini? Olive oil? Add what you need for your taste.
