1st.u want 2start w/soaking the rice in 3quarts of warm water for 2 hours the way 2know yur rice is ready is by getng a piece of rice&breakin it in half If it breaks easily,den its ready 4da next step
Now that your rice is ready. Get ur blender ready. Including your supplies.
Now u want 2 pour your two cans of condensed, evaporated milk, your drops of vanilla & your cinnamon into the blender AND POUR YOUR RICE IN ALSO. YES THE RICE just the way it is. Now BLEND THEM ALL

If its just the way you want it now youll get a pitcher fill it with half cold water & ice make sure too not feel it too much w/ water b/c we will b adding the mixture.
Now u want 2grab ur drainer put the drainer on top of the pitcher &drain the mixture onto the pitcher.
making sure that if theres any left over rice that it stays on the drainer ¬ goin into the pitcher.If it does its ok. Now youll remove the drainer.
Now that u've removed the drainer- mix your mixture with the water very well. Feel free too add more cinnmon . And there you have yourself horchata! It is delicious!;). Enjoy
- 3/4 cup of rice- any brand
- 3 quarts of water
- 1 can evaporated milk (12oz)
- 1 can condensed milk (14oz)
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla flavor
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
