First chill everything-the bowl,the cream,the whisk. The colder the better!
Next whip the cream, slowly at first,until consistency is thick,soft and fluffy, or until soft peaks begin to form.
Finally gradually blend in sugar and vanilla, and whip until stiff peaks form. Do not over-whip,or you will end up with butter!
