This recipe makes a double batch of stuffing. If you have two bread pans, you can cook one today and freeze one for later!

Melt butter in pan over medium heat and add onions.

Add celery.  Stir and cook until softened.

Gradually pour in water, stirring as you go.

The stuffing should be thick and sticky and look like this.  Add a little bit of salt and pepper, too.

Separate stuffing into two separate bread pans.  Freeze one for future use!  Cover the other one with aluminum foil and place in the oven.

Bake for approximately 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until heated through.
