This recipe makes a double batch of stuffing. If you have two bread pans, you can cook one today and freeze one for later!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Break bread into small pieces in large bowl.
Add bread stuffing cubes and poultry seasoning to bowl of bread and stir.
It will look like this when mixed. Set aside.
Drain and discard grease from sausage.
Melt butter in pan over medium heat and add onions.
Add celery. Stir and cook until softened.
Add sausage, onions, and celery to bread mixture.
Gradually pour in water, stirring as you go.
The stuffing should be thick and sticky and look like this. Add a little bit of salt and pepper, too.
Separate stuffing into two separate bread pans. Freeze one for future use! Cover the other one with aluminum foil and place in the oven.
Bake for approximately 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until heated through.

- 1.0 Loaves of white sandwich bread, broken in pieces
- 1.0 Package prepared bread stuffings cubes
- 2.0 Onions, chopped
- 3.0 Celery stalks, chopped
- 1.0lb Sausage (in a tube)
- 8.0Tbsp Butter
- 3.0Tbsp Poultry seasoning
- 4.0c Water
- Salt & Pepper
