How to make homemade maple syrup

Planning pancakes for breakfast but no syrup on hand? Never fear, with just three ingredients, you can whip up homemade maple syrup in no time!

Add sugar & water to medium sized saucepan.

Bring to a boil. For thinner syrup remove immediately after bringing to a boil.  For thicker syrup, boil two minutes, stirring constantly.

Use a funnel to pour into containers.  I used these mini jars for a family breakfast, so everyone had their own.  The remainder I poured into a glass jar with a lid.

Store any leftovers in a covered jar in the refrigerator.  Can be warmed in microwave or stovetop for a warm syrup.
