Ingrediens needed. Note: I ended up using freeze-dried strawberries instead of chocolate! So imagine strawberries instead of chocolate on this picture :-)

Mix all of the dry ingredients together

Melt butter, sugar and syrup in a pan over low heat until the sugar has melted (so it no longer crunches)

Add the dry ingredients to the  sugar mixture...

Add the mixture to an oven-proof form of approx. 12 x 20 cm lined with baking paper and press it together.

To get it as smooth as possible, you can add a piece of baking paper over the mixture and press it flat and evenly with a rolling pin

Bake the mixture at 175 ° C for approx. 20 min.

When baked, it should look something like this.  It is very important that you let it cool completely before cutting it into bars; if not the bars will break and become muesli instead!

Store in an airtight container, so they do not lose their crispness.

  • 75.0g Chopped almonds
  • 200.0g Oatmeal
  • 40.0g Flaxseed
  • 30.0g Pumpkin seeds
  • 30.0g Sunflower seeds
  • 3.0Tbsp Freeze-dried strawberries
  • 75.0g Butter
  • 100.0g Sugar
  • 100.0g Syrup
