STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Start by cutting out little pieces of your wax/parchment paper
Take your corn syrup
Sugar
And water (not much)
Mix 1 cup sugar and add just enough water to make it look like wet sand and add a dab of the corn syrup P.S. If you add too much water it is like a sweet paste
Set on stove to medium low heat
Then let your sugar solution sit don't stir or anything
You should start seeing bubbles at the edge and if you connect them it will look like an X
The bubbles will grow still don't stir
they'll reach the center you still can't stir
(Not in the pic) it will turn a dark golden brown but not to dark
Then stir
And add some water to slow the bubbles you only need like half a small Dixie cup Warning: it will bubble a lot and make weird sounds
Then put on a simmer
Move quickly or it will harden on the spoon Place a decent sized glob of the caramel to the wax/parchment paper strip you cut out earlier
Let cool (about 3-5 minutes) Fold in the sides twist the ends and your done
