This recipe make two large bath melts, or 4 - 5 smaller ones. Personally, although they look really nice, I think these hearts are too big, a little goes a long way in the bath.

You can also use other butters, such as Shea butter. Some recipes combine both butters. Have a play and see what you like best. Personally I find Shea butter too soft.

When the mixture is a bit cooler, pour into the moulds. Add dried flowers to enhance the visual effect and bath experience. I've used dried rose petal buds and lavender from my garden.

I prefer to use silicone moulds, like these heart shaped ones, for bath melts. I made two lots of mixes - 2 hearts with Lavender, and 2 hearts with Jasmine and rose petals.

Allow the moulds to cool. Add to your fridge if you want to speed up the process. They took just over an hour to harden.

When the melts harden, remove from moulds and leave to cool further. Both the lavender and jasmine hearts smell wonderful! I tend to keep mine in the fridge to stop them melting when it's hot.
