STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Got these from Costco - 5 large apples
Cut the top of the apple just like so.
Take the core first like so this way it won't be mixed with the rest of your apples.
Then scoop up the rest on a separate bowl. You will need it for filling.
The apples that you scoop up should look like this.
Use 1 whole apple to cut in cubes to add to the rest of the scoop up apples to add texture to your filling. If you don't like bitterness take the skin off from the apple.
I used this sugar
1 1/4 water boil it on a pan.
Once the water boiled, add your apple and let it boil for 15 minutes. Then add 1/8 tsp of nutmeg.
Add 1 tsp. of cinnamon.
Add the 1/4 cup raw sugar cane. I used this instead of regular brown sugar or white sugar. This is much healthier.
Add 1 tbsp butter
Just like so.
Mixed the butter and let it boil for 5 more minutes. Or until the apples are tender.
Cut just a little bit of butter and add it to each apple to keep the moisture in.
So cute. All ready for baking and it's all filled up. Used your cooked apples to fill this up.
Wrap each apple. You don't need to wrap it if you don't like crispy apples to eat.
Baked it at 375 for 15 minutes. Crispy apples. The longer you bake it, the softer it gets.
Voilah.
Added whip cream and paired with my chocolate truffle flavored coffee. Bon appetit.
