Preheat oven to 200oC.
Make two 5-centimetre-long diagonal slits in the surface of each of the drumsticks.
Mix Hoisin Sauce, Golden Syrup and oil together and brush over the drumsticks.
Place the drumsticks on a plate, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 minutes to marinade.
Line a baking tray with non-stick paper and place drumstick on lined tray.
Cook in the oven for 10 minutes.
Baste the drumsticks with the marinade.
Put back in oven for 20 minutes.
Put rice on a plate
