How to make heart decorations!

Gather your supplies.

Draw a box that is 12cm x 14cm then split it into 6 strips that are 2cm wide.

Draw a line 2cm from the bottom on 4 strips then a line 4 cm from the bottom on 2 strips.

Cut all the strips out.

Now make 4 of the strips smaller using the lines you made earlier.

Arrange the strips as shown.

Create 2 piles, one pile of strips going smallest to largest and one going largest to smallest, making sure all the bottoms line up.

Cut your ribbon/string and fold it in half to your desired length.

Place your ribbon on top of the pile of strips going smallest to biggest then put the other pile on top and staple. *Click on the image to see the staple!*

Line the ends of your strips up...

...now staple the ends together.

Your finished heart, hang wherever you want!
