How to make healthy berry galettes
My aunt told me about these one day, then I saw them on the cover of a magazine, and I flipped. I had to make them! So this evening, who cares about homework, I made them! Turned out beautifully! :)

STEPS
INGREDIENTS

Cut together your flour, coconut oil and cream cheese, until crumbly. Sorry my oil, and cream cheese is hidden beneath the flour. ;)

Add in 5 tbsp of water, a bit a a time!

Until you have a dough!

Wrap it up and place it in the fridge.

Pull out some frozen (or fresh) berries that you picked over summer, and preserved. ;) microwave for 1:30 sec.

Peel and chop one apple, sprinkle with lemon juice.

Beat together egg yolk and cream! (Milk can be used here)

Gather some granulated sugar.

Pull out your dough and cut into four pieces.

Flatten with your palm, or a rolling pin, and place on parchment lined baking sheet!

Mix berries with 1 tsp cornstarch, and split between 3 of the doughs!

Place the apple in one, and fold together the sides. (This was my first time folding, and it turned out pretty well! Just do your best, it'll still taste good!) :)

Brush with the egg wash, and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 30 min, at 350 degrees fahrenheit, until golden brown.

It's done!!

Ta da! The apple one turned out great! I sprinkled it with cinnamon!

Ooo berry goodness. :)

Annnnnd photography, my second favorite hobby after baking ;)

Since there is barely any sugar in these, I can eat them for breakfast too right?
