Cream the Butter and Sugar together in a mixing bowl, until pale and fluffy.

Put the eggs into another bowl and whisk until all are blended together.

Sift the flour into the mixing bowl, a quarter at a time. Hold the sieve high for maximum air to be put into the mixture.

Fold the eggs into the mixture a little at a time, and make sure all the flour has been properly combined.

Split the mixture in half, and then stir in a few drops of food colouring in both. Pour the mixture into cupcake cases, and place in the oven for 15 - 25 minutes, depending on your oven.

Take out and Leave to cool. Mix icing sugar with whatever food colouring you wish. You may wish to place halloween sweets on top to decorate.
