How to make gold leaf easter eggs

Start with colouring your eggs. I coloured mine the night before to make sure they were fully dry in the morning.

Place a thin layer of gilding adhesive over the egg. Allow the glue to dry (not completely though) just until it feels tacky.

Press gold leaf onto the sticky area. It doesn’t have to be perfect as you want it in different areas on the egg.

TIP: Start by putting glue and gold leaf on one side of the egg first then work your way around.
