Make Glitter Nails With Gradient Accent

My weapons of choice for this demo.
The colors I'm using are Sally Hansen's Xtreme wear Strobe Light & Milani's Purple Gleam.
Make sure you clean, shape, & buff before you begin! Add your base coat. I'm using Revlon's post trauma base coat. It helps to fill in any lines or ridges and strengthens.
Next grab your glitter polish and paint all of your nails except one.
Something like this. I've left my ring finger bare for the gradient effect.
Grab your darker color and your glitter color and add a few drops on some paper. Grab your sponge and dab both colors on the nail you left bare. Add as much or as little to the sponge as you like.
It should look a bit like this. Once you've gotten the effect you want, it's time to clean up.
Grab your acetone, nail brush or q-tips, and clean any access nail polish around your nail and cuticle.
Now grab your top coat. I'm using Sally Hansen's Miracle Shine. I am also going to use Revlon's Liquid Quick Dry to speed things along.
After you paint your top coat wait a minute before applying your liquid quick dry.
Take your quick dry and apply a thin layer to each nail.
Add to some cuticle oil to your nails. Especially if you use acetone.
Voila! All done. Thanks for checking me out!
