Freshly picked lemongrass
Ginger
Three tablespoons of sugar (white for now)
Wash the lemongrass
Tie the lemongrass for easier handling
Wash the ginger
Peel the ginger
Chop the ginger
Crush ginger
Crush lemongrass bulb
Place ginger and lemongrass in a pot or kettle and fill with water.
Cover the pot and bring to a boil
Boil for 8-10 minutes
Let cool and add sugar
Remove ginger and lemongrass
Put ice in a pitcher
Pour cooled tea into pitcher
Set up for a nice photo
