I've seen some great recipes for pickles, but I decided to add more garlic with mine and wanted to share the recipe!

Start with a good sized canning jar (or equivalent). It should be good quality and have a completely sealable lid.

Buy some good sized mini or pickling cucumbers. They can be with seeds or seedless. You can cut them or leave them whole as well.

Now is the time to add seasonings. I added a lot of different seasonings, but you can season to taste.

I added about a half a bulb of fresh garlic...

Then a couple tablespoons of crushed garlic...

2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning...

2 teaspoons of lemon pepper (I used salt-free), but it doesn't matter which one.

1 tablespoon of crushed red pepper.

2 teaspoons of bacon salt (this stuff is amazing!)

Add this all to the mason jar...

Fill the jar up about 1/3 a jar with distilled white vinegar.

Add the cucumbers to the mix.

Boil some water (about 4 cups worth) to add to the mason jar. Fill it up to the top (leaving about an inch from the top) with the boiling water.

Turn upside down for the first night, then flip the jar and let sit for about 4-6 weeks.
