How to make garden art with old windows

This is a 8 pane window. You may chose a smaller window for your first project. A picture frame would also be suitable

If the frame has been painted you can strip off the paint to expose the wood. Or paint the frame.

If you choose to strip the window stain and varnish the exposed wood.

Once the prep is done, clean the glass on the windows. Your ready to start creating magic.

I cut all my stain glass into small pieces for this project.

Once all the pieces are in place do another small area. Make sure the caulking is lightly over lay on the seams.

I used glass, beads, and old jewelry for this mosaic. The clear caulking looks awesome textured through out this piece.
