Add cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and salt to a large bowl.

Add chocolate chips! Milk Chocolate, semi sweet, or white chocolate would all work. White would be sooo good!
Spoon onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until top is cracked. They stand great on their own but the cherry topping literally puts the cherry on top. Ha
For optional cherry topping: wash and pit a handful or two of cherries. This extra good when the cherries are tart, which is one of the few uses I have for tart cherries👍
Pulse in food processor or blender until smooth.
Add a spoonful to each cookie that you are planning to eat soon. (Refrigerate the rest for later)
