STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Slice banana into 1/2 inch coins
Lay them out on a wax-paper covered cookie sheet
Put a little blob of peanut butter on top of each. I used the back of a spoon.
Smooth down the PB so it lays evenly on top of the banana slices, and put in the freezer for 15 minutes to firm up
In a double boiler or reasonable facsimile melt your chocolate. You could use chocolate chips, but what you're looking at here is the shattered remains of 3 hollow Easter bunnies
Melt your chocolate, whisking in just enough milk to make it dip-able, not spreadable. When I first added some heavy cream, it got all grainy, but I just added more milk, whisked and it smoothed out.
Dip your frozen PB & banana bits in your melted chocolate, and return to the freezer til frozen.
Admire the smooth chocolatey goodness.
Once frozen, store in a ziplock bag or a Tupperware container (or any other nonproprietary storage device), and enjoy periodically. Must stay frozen.
