Boil chicken with carrots and celery. Make sure to NOT use onions or garlic in your broth, both are harmful to dogs.
Let broth and chicken cool, and move the chicken to a separate bowl. Do not dispose of broth. I use a whole chicken to get good broth using the spine, but feel free to use as much or as little chicken
Stain out broth.
Set up bowls on a cookie sheet and add a handful of shredded chicken. If you wanted to add veggies, this would be the time to do it. I also thought parchment paper would be a good idea as a liner. No
Cover shredded chicken with broth and freeze over night. Not only are these good for dogs, but if you have a recipe that calls for chicken and broth, just thaw one of these out,and it speeds up a meal
Save your left over broth for cooking or frozen dog treats. When you wake up and find out your dog is sick, sometimes you don't have time to make them a special meal.
Run under warm water until the disc pops out. It's fairly quick, just like you would with ice cubes.
Once removed, bag individually ready to use convince. Once the disc thaws I add veggies, pumpkin and boiled rice, this is great for dogs with upset tummies, or for when you forget to buy food.
I put the remainder broth in a ice cube tray, and my pups love this as a treat.
