Preheat oven to 180 deg. Celcius (or about 360 deg. Fahrenheit)

Thinly slice your fresh nectarines

Squeeze juice out of lemon

Prepare other ingredients: grated lemon rind, chopped nuts, etc.

Mix butter and sugar together in a large bowl until creamy

Add the eggs and mix well

Add rest of the ingredients and mix until loosely combined

Line baking tin with baking paper and grease the sides

Pour cake mixture into baking tin and bake in oven for 55-60 minutes

Remove from oven and leave to cool

Dust over with icing sugar and/or serve with ice cream/whipped cream and enjoy!
