Preheat oven to 450
Cut off any eyes on your potatoes
Then peel them
Once they are peeled cut them into thin strips(cut the circles in half)
Put your cut potatoes into a bowl
Rinse your potato slices and pat them dry. Then put them back into the bowl.
Add olive oil, salt, and pepper into the bowl.
Mix the oil, salt, and pepper with your hands.
Spray the pan with Pam or grease it with butter before you put the potatoes on. You don't need very much.
Spread out the potatoes on a baking sheet(we used two)
Sprinkle chopped basil over tray
Place trays into the oven and set a timer for 30 minutes
If your bottom oven shelf cooks faster than your top oven shelf(or vice versa) switch them at around 15 minutes. The shelf that cooks faster might even be done!
This is what the finished product looks like- you can serve them with salt or your favorite dipping sauce!
