Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Get all of your ingredients ready. I use the Coronado cajeta Quemada for the topping. If you don't know where to buy it at, I have seen that Walmart has it in the Latin aisle.
Put the cajeta on the bottom of your glass pan...
Spread the cajeta on the bottom of the pan. Do not put on the sides, as this will be the topping.
Put all of the ingredients in the blender. I usually put the evaporated milk first, and then the sweet and condensed milk next. I found that if you put the condensed milk first it don't blend as well.
This is what it will look like all together. Blend for about 45 seconds.
When blended, at mixture to the pan with the cajeta.
Should look like this...
With another pan filled 1/4 full of water underneath flan, bake for 45 minutes. It will still be a little jiggly as it will set in refrigerator.
After it is cooked, stick in refrigerator for about 2 hours, or if you're like my family and can't wait you can stick in freezer for an hour so it "sets" faster. Then enjoy!! :)
Coming out of oven, notice that the cajeta is now on the top.
In the freezer to set it goes.
