How to make fizzy cola cup cakes
Add some fizz to your cupcakes with cola, popping candy and cola bottles. Adults and kids love them

INGREDIENTS
Gather ingredients
Heat the butter and cola in a pan until the butter melts. Then allow to cool
Sift the flour, cocoa and baking powder into a bowl
Mix together with the cooled butter mixture
Add the sugar and eggs and continue to mix until smooth
Fill 12 cupcake cases with the mixture and bake in an oven at 200°C (180°C Fan) for 25-30 minutes or until an inserted skewer comes out clean
Smells amazing!
Leave the cakes on a wire rack to cool
Beat the butter in a bowl until soft and fluffy then sift in the icing sugar and cocoa a little at a time,using the come to loosen the mix
You may need a little more coke if the mix is too stiff
Prepare an icing bag
Fill the bag with the icing mix
Fizzy cola bottles at the ready!
Pipe the icing on top of the cooled cakes and then top with a cola bottle and popping candy

- 200.0g Unsalted butter

- 250.0g Self-rising flour
- 1.0tsp Baking powder
- 1.0Tbsp Cocoa powder
- 200.0g Golden caster sugar
- 2.0 Eggs beaten

- For the cola frosting
- 100.0g Unsalted butter, softened
- 25.0g Cocoa powder
- 450.0g Icing sugar
- 100.0ml Coke
- 1.0tsp Vanilla extract
- Fizzy cola bottles
- Popping candy
