In a two quart saucepan bring milk to a boil and add 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and a pinch of salt.
Gradually add the farina into the saucepan, and with a wood spoon keep stirring. Tip: If left unattended the farina will become lumpy.
Keep stirring for about 2 minutes. Until the farina thickens (I like it very thick; others prefer slightly less thick). Pour farina into your favorite dessert plate and garnish with cinnamon.
- 2 cups of farina
- 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 cup of milk
- A sprinkle of salt
- Cinnamon to taste and garnish
