INGREDIENTS
Gather your supplies. You can use any candy you want and any flavor candy melts. Smaller pieces of candy work best.
Melt the candy melts SLOWLY! Heat for about 20 seconds and stir, stir, stir. Some chocolate will still be solid, allow it to be melted by the warm chocolate. If overheated, it will be ruined.
Make sure your strawberries are clean and completely dry. Water also ruins chocolate.
Grab the strawberry by the stem and dip completely in the melted chocolate. Allow excess chocolate to drip off and place it on a parchment paper covered cookie sheet.
Immediately add your chopped/ small candies while the chocolate is still wet.
For larger candies, drop it in a sandwich bag and break it into smaller pieces. If the pieces are too large they will slide off the strawberry.
All chopped and ready to add to the strawberries.
Allow the chocolate to set completely and transfer to a serving dish.
