How to make fake tattoo stockings 🐾

Fake tattoo stockings are pretty expensive and usually the ones I like are sold out or not in my size. I decided to make my own, because I think handmade is always better 🙊

Fold your card stock to fit inside the stocking, make sure not to stretch it. Then cut the ends round to not tear holes in them 🔆

Slide your cards inside the stocking legs, making sure you match the sides and tip of the legs. Not to have them one on the front and the other on the back 😝

Choose your tattoo and go wild 😜 I chose a simple line with a bow at the end 🎀 all the following steps are for that 🐮

Make sure you follow the instructions on your fabric paint or marker ☝️ if you want you can add multiple layers to the paint, making sure you wait for it to dry in between 👌

With the ruler, measure the middle of your stoking leg. You want the line to be on the middle of your leg.

Using your ruler, make a line as long as you want it to go up your leg. I wanted mine to be only on the calf, so I made it aprox 19cm (7.5in)

Making the line is a bit hard, so don't just trace it, because your stocking might get holes or the line won't be even. Dot the line on them to make sure it's straight.
