How to make fake bruises

These are the colours I use, you can use any but they have to be able to smudge a bit :)

Start with a clean area, you can make your bruise anywhere on your body but for this tutorial I am doing it on my arm :)

Start with the red, you can do any shape but don't do a perfect circle because it needs to look as realistic as possible :)

Wet your finger (using water or lick it) and smudge the red so there is no definite shape, make some areas not as smudged for a better effect :)

Add a line of purple down the middle and...

...smudge it in :)

Add yellow to the middle and outside to add an old effect to it and guess what....?

...smudge it in! By now you should be starting to for a life like bruise, you can always go back and add more red/purple to suit you :)

Now I have taken the blue and the green to add different effects, it's up to you how much you add or you don't have to add any :)

This is my finished bruise, you can add more colours, use different shades, different Size and shaped, have fun and I hope this works for you :)
