INGREDIENTS
Ready to make yeast rolls?!
In a stand mixer bowl add yeast
Add sugar
Add warm water, dissolve sugar and yeast
Let stand about 5 min until it looks foamy
This is a good time to oil down a large bowl
Nice and foamy!
Now add the butter and salt, then the flour 1/2 cup at a time. Using dough hook on low until incorporated, then on med until pulling away from the sides and well mixed
Place dough ball in the large oiled bowl, then roll it around as to cover the dough lightly in oil, cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise 1 hr or until doubled in size.
Punch down center of dough and form balls about the size of a small lime. I placed them in an oiled 9.5" pie plate, they're gooey and will touch. Cover with kitchen towel to rise for an hour
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and bake approx 15 min or until golden brown, brush melted butter on top and serve hot. Delicious!
