Variations to mix in: Roasted Red Pepper Hummus: add one red pepper (from a jar is fine) Spicy: Add a jalapeño and a handful of cilantro.

Blend well. We used a Vidamix, food processor is good too. Might be a bit thick for a traditional blender.

Ta da! Creamy and so good with a drizzle of olive oil on top. Refrigerate a few hours to let the flavors grow. Keep up to a week in the fridge.

  • 2 cans chickpeas
  • A few garlic cloves
  • Juice from one lemon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Thini (found by peanut butter at store)
  • 2 1/2 tbsp plain yogurt (I used Greek)
  • 2 ice cubes
  • Olive oil to drizzle
  • Food processor or blender
