Your supplies will include: Cardboard, Duct Tape, Flip Flops, Scissors and a Sharpie or Pen.

Your supplies will include: Cardboard, Duct Tape, Flip Flops, Scissors and a Sharpie or Pen.

First, make a template out of cardboard by using one your flip-flops and tracing it with either a sharpie or a pen.

After tracing, cut the templates out.

Next, layer pieces of duct tape (around the same size) to make the base of one flip flop.

The bottom of your base will look like this after it's layered.

Once you're done with the bottom of your base, lay pieces of duct tape on top of the layered part to make the top of the base. (Make sure these are the same size)

This will look like the base of the flip flop after the layering.

Repeat these steps for the second shoe.

Then once that's done, trace your template onto your base.

After your done tracing, cut your flip flops out.

Now, place your feet on each flip flop and in between your big toe and second toe make a mark using the pen or sharpie.

Once your marks are made, cut a slit on each mark for your toe piece.

Now for your toe piece, cut a piece of duct tape about 10 inches long and fold in half (Make one for each shoe).

Next, fold these strips in half and slide them part way into the slit.

After that, fold the strips over the edges of the flip flop.

Then, tape the bottom of the flip flop to keep the strips in place.

Finally, your flip flops are done. Enjoy!
