The result :)

First, bring about 1.5 liters of water to boil in a large pan. The water should be enough to cover your amount of beets.

Peel off your beets.

Cut your beets in quorters. They should be about the same size. Throw them into the water. Add water till fully covered.

Check youe beets every five minuts. Mine have been cookes by 10 minuts :)

Use the knife technique to check if the beets are soft enough to eat. When the knife smoothly gets into the beet-it is ready! When ready take out of the water using a spoon.

Let the leftover water keep on boiling. It should keep on simmering.

It is optional to add 2tsp of suger to the water. It helps the food color to be preserved for longer time. Stir.

Do not forget to check out your food color! Beware it can disaapear withing fue minuts!! Not recommanded.
