Chop pistachios in little pieces, u can add more or less if u like
Let ice cream sit in the counter for about 15 mins to soften a bit to make it easier to stir. For healthier alternative use frozen yogurt, instead of ice cream.
This are the pistachios I used but any brand works fine, u can even add pecan, walnuts, or any type of fruit or chocolate if u like
Add pistachios to ice cream
Get your phyllo shells
Take out of box
Add ice cream evenly between the shells.
I added a little drizzle of honey it really doesn't need it, just to make it look pretty
Add a whole pistachio on top
Put in freezer to get ice cream hard again
I left them about 2 hours. Take out and enjoy
- 1/2c Pistachios
- 12.0 Mini phyllo shells
- 1.0c Vanilla ice cream
- Honey (optional)
- 12.0 Whole pistachios (optional)
