INGREDIENTS
The amount of lycopene is higher when the tomatoes are heated up, and lycopene is good for you so keep eating oven baked tomatoes, tomato sauce etc.
Turn on the oven at 100 C.
Cut the tomatoes and place them on a baking sheet.
Like so.
Drop olive oil on top of the tomatoes.
Sprinkle the salt and sugar on top as well.
Finally add the fresh herbs.
Bake in the oven about 2 hours.
Serve in a salad or as a side dish to lasagna, fish or whatever you prefer. They're great on pizza too!
- 250.0g Cherry tomatoes
- 2.0tsp Olive oil
- 0.0tsp Flake salt
- 1.0tsp Sugar
- Fresh thyme or rosemary
