Cut the tops of the cloves of garlic off all the way around with a pairing knife.
Place in a piece of aluminum foil.
Drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Wrap it up tightly and bake at 375 for about 30-45 minutes or until it is nice and light golden brown.
Using a fork, break the skin of each garlic clove down the side to make it easier to pull them out.
Pull the cloves out like this.
