How to make delicious maple banana fudge (it's healthy!)

Here's a recipe for healthy fudge that I got from one of my favorite bloggers- Chocolate Covered Katie. (www.chocolatecoveredkatie.com) This fudge has no added sugar or processed ingredients.

Place 4 tablespoons coconut butter into a microwave safe dish. Microwave it until melted- I did it for 30 seconds. Coconut butter is coconut oil AND coconut meat blended together.  Sweet!

The melted coconut butter looks like this. You can make your own coconut butter - take dried coconut and pur\u00e9e it until it's smooth. So easy! But I'm lazy so I buy mine.

Mash up the banana with a fork. It's okay if it's lumpy.

Mix the coconut butter with the banana. Add the cinnamon and salt.

This is what it looks like mixed together. Place  the mixture into the freezer for an hour or so.

While the fudge is setting up in the freezer- enjoy a cup of green tea!

Slice it up into squares!

Keep the fudge in the fridge or freezer and serve it cold. This recipe makes about four servings.

  • 1/8tsp Cinnamon
  • 1.0pch A pinch of salt
  • 2.0Tbsp Maple syrup
