Add molasses and water and stir. It may be easier to stir with your hands. Also, add up to a 1/4 cup more molasses as needed to completely mix the batter.

Roll into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Use spoon to flatten treats (optional). Cookies will not expand, so it's ok to place them close together.
