Gather ingredients.
Pour oats into saucepan.
Add milk.
Stir until combined.
Put on the lid and cook on a high heat until it reaches boiling point.
Once the porridge is boiling, let it continue boiling for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes it should look like this; thickened with a bit of milk left over. Make sure that it doesn't overcook as it will become hard to stir.
Add cinnamon and honey.
Stir until combined.
Cut the banana lengthways.
Roughly chop one half of the banana.
Stir in chopped banana pieces.
Plate up! Cut remaining banana into pieces and place over porridge. Dust with a little cinnamon and raw sugar and sprinkle with optional ingredients. Enjoy!
