STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Mix the flour with baking powder and salt and set aside.
Whisk the eggs and set aside.
Place the bread in a bowl. Just plain ole white or wheat soft cheap bread. Stale bread will also work.
Pour the Hot Milk over the bread. Whisk it together until the bread and milk is combined.
Add the flour and whisk until the flour is completely incorporated.
Add the eggs and whisk again. You want it to be a little thick, but not so thick that it won't pour. Add more milk if too thick or add a little flour if too runny.
It should look like this...
Melt the butter in a skillet. Have the skillet on medium high, depending on your stove. You want it hot enough to cook the pancakes, but you don't want to burn the butter.
Pour the pancakes into the hot butter.
Notice the bubbles starting to come through. This is the first sign that the pancakes might be ready to flip. Also notice the edges are starting to look cooked.
Check the bottom before flipping, see how it is golden brown. When it is bubbly in the center and golden brown, flip to cook the other side.
Look how yummy that is... The pancake is done when the bottom is as golden as the top.
