How to make cute mexican centrepieces

Small battery powered fairy lights. I bought these from my local Big W (American equivalent is probably Walmart) for $2

Unravel the lights

Insert the lights into the clean dry corona bottle, with the led facing downwards. This prevents extra pressure on the wiring.

Still threading...

My "something long and thin" is a bookmark folded into thirds. Use it to push lights around and make them more evenly distributed.

Finished product!

Tape the extra wire to the back and either put battery pack taped underneath the bottle or just behind. They also look good arranged around an empty tin can (labels off) with the battery packs inside
