Please follow the order of ingredients added . Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds after spluttering, add garlic , urad dal and dry red chillies at once and mix .
Wait for 1 minute and add the green chillies , cumin and curry leaves mix well finally add hing to it and let it cool .
In a bowl mix rice and curd
To it add mix and salt and mix . Make sure the rice is cool at this stage .
Now add the tempering made early which should not be hot and mix well
Finally add the coriander leaves.
Serve chilled with pickle and papad
