poke a hole in the eggshell to drain out the contents
once empty, carefully cut the eggshell in half
wash and dry, then cover the inside with glue. make sure to cover the entire surface.
sprinkle alum powder on the inside. make sure all the glue is covered with alum powder then shake off excess.
let the glue dry completely. preferably overnight.
add 3/4 cup alum powder to 2 cups of very hot water in a jar.
stir to dissolve evenly then add 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of your choice of food coloring.
mix well then slowly submerge egg into the liquid. leave overnight. the longer you leave it, the more crystals will form.
carefully lift the egg from the mixture and prepare to be amazed!
you can make them in any color that you like!
