Pour 1 pint of heavy whipping cream, one cup of sugar, and a vanilla bean into a pan and turn the stove on low. Stir until the bean opens.
Cut open the bean with a knife and scrape the inside of the bean out with a spoon, then mix into the sugar and creme.
Separate the yolk from the whites and mix only the yolk together.
Slowly add the creme, sugar, bean, and eggs TOGETHER into a container.
Pour the mixture into creme brulee bowls.
Put all the bowls in a bigger pan and add water halfway to the top of the bowls to distribute the heat evenly.
Cook for 1 hour or until the creme brulee looks like this.
Put sugar on the top and burn it. If you do not have a burner, then you can put it in the oven to cook.
