Gather your ingredients.
Use a cap, cup, or cookie cutter to punch a hole in the middle. If you don't have one available, just fold bread in half and bite a hole in the middle. Try to keep the bread from breaking into two.
Place the bread on a hot sauté pan greased with Pam or butter. (Try to place the bread with the crack facing up so when you flip it over it will be less likely to split in half)
Crack an egg and place it in the hole
Give it a few minutes then carefully put your spatula under the bread. Push the toast with your hand to help get the spatula under it more easily.
Flip it!
Give the other side a few minutes to cook then put it your plate.
Add hot sauce (if you want).
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (again this is totally up to you).
